French bean fried rice

French bean or fansi ( in gujarati), is very nutritious as they are low in calories. They are an excellent source of minerals, vitamins like A, B1,B6,C and health promoting flavonoid such as beta carotene.

This recipe also contains carrot,garlic,cabbage,ginger. All these vegetables are very good for health like carrot contains beta carotene and vitamin A; cabbage is also low in calories; garlic good for kidney and ginger is an antioxidant. It also contains rice that is easy to digest.

Ingredients:
French beans
Carrots
Cabbage
Onions
Ginger
Garlic
Green chilli
Rice
Salt
Red chilli powder
Oil
1 bowl(small one)
1 bowl(small one)
1 bowl(small one), shredded
1 bowl(small one)
small piece
2-3
2 small
1 bowl cooked rice
to taste
1/2 tsp
2-3 tsp

Instructions:
1. In a frying pan, add oil and all the vegetables and stir fry.
2. Next, add salt to taste and red chilli powder and again stir fry.
3. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add rice.
4. Mix properly and tasty fried rice is ready. 


This morning we made( I and my mom) made our favorite- Lemon rice

The ingredients are quite simple
Rice
Curry leaves
Red chilli powder
Turmeric
Methi seeds
Lemon juice
Ginger
Green chilli
Salt
Oil
Jeera( cumin seeds)

Steps:
1) Cook 1 cup rice first with salt.
2) Now in a vessel add oil,jeera,ginger,chilli powder, green chilli, turmeric, lemon juice, methi powder and curry leaves and saute all the ingredients.
3) Turn off the flame and add rice; mix well everything and server hot with curd or chana.
